Glenpool Man Arrested In Undercover Child Sex Sting

A 47-year-old Glenpool man was arrested after investigators say he contacted what he thought were two 14-year-old girls for sex. 

An affidavit states Bart Mitchell Martin thought he was communicating with two underage females when he texted an undercover agent in the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics Human Trafficking Unit. 

Martin was arrested on two complaints of lewd proposals to a child under 16, two counts of solicitation of a minor by technology and two counts of violating Oklahoma computer crimes act. 

The undercover agent said Martin advertised on Craigslist saying he was an "older daddy seeking young young baby." The agent responded on September 19, 2017, representing himself as a 14-year-old girl and sending a phone number. 

The affidavit lists several texts the agent said he exchanged with Martin. 

"During the course of our conversations we discussed me being in middle school, classes I was in, living with my mom, and keeping my communications secret from my parents," the agent said.

The text messages detail sex acts Martin said he wanted to perform with the supposed teenager and one of her underage friends the agent also represented using a second cell phone, court documents state. 

Martin also sent the agent photos of his face and penis, via both cell phones, according to the undercover investigator.

Martin was arrested September 25, 2017, and is currently in Tulsa County Jail.
