Broken Arrow Man Shot In Arm Apparently By Stepson

A man was shot in the arm in Broken Arrow Sunday morning.

The shooting occurred around 10:20 a.m. in the 2700 block of South Aspen, said Sergeant Keith Cook.

The man was transported by Broken Arrow Fire Department paramedics to the Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

His injury appears to be non-life threatening, Cook said.

Police said the shooting occurred in the front yard of the residence.

The shooter appeared to be the stepson of the gunshot victim.

Police did not indicate whether the shooting appeared to be accidental or intentional.

The shooting is still under investigation.
