A 32-year-old Jay man being sought on several felony warrants out of Delaware County was arrested Friday afternoon after a day long manhunt in nearby Ottawa County.
It all started when Wyandotte Police were called to a casino. Robert Bailey had been barred from entering the casino and when he was confronted by officers, he ran off.
Police said he was last seen jumping into the Spring River west of Wyandotte. Searchers from GRDA Police and the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office spent seven hours Friday looking for Bailey.
Eventually, Robert Bailey was spotted field, where he was arrested.
"He has warrants out of Delaware County and so he'll have to face those. He'll have some local charges in reference to the fleeing incident" says Ken Murphy, Wyandotte Police Chief.
