Stolen Van Recovered, TPD Searches For Driver

A van that had been reported stolen has been recovered but the driver is still on the run, Tulsa police said. 

At about 1:30 a.m. Monday, TPD officers pulled behind a Dodge van with South Dakota plates near Woodrow and Pittsburg. 

The driver pulled over near 11th and Garnett and appeared to be cooperating with officers until the driver ran away into a residential area.

A K-9 officer was dispatched but was unable to locate the driver.
