Driver Killed When Van Crashes Through Trees In Tulsa

A driver was killed when a work van slammed through several trees while exiting westbound Interstate 244 at Yale Sunday evening. Witnesses said the van was going at a high rate of speed when the driver apparently lost control around 7 p.m.

There was one man in the van when it crashed through three trees and hit a fourth, News On 6 has learned. Tulsa firefighters had to cut the victim of the wreckage.

The identity of the driver has not been released. Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the fatal crash.
