Tulsa's BOK Center was decked in blue lights Thursday evening.

It was to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The Department of Public Safety employs more than 600 civilians across the state, and almost 800 uniformed personnel serve in the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
