Trial Starts In Death Of 2-Year-Old Tulsa Boy

Jury selection was to start Monday afternoon in the death of a 2-year-old boy in February, 2016. Branden Taylor is accused of child abuse murder and child neglect in the death of Michael Rigney, his girlfriend's son. The mother, Tina Morgan, is charged with permitting child abuse and child neglect.

According to court records, when Taylor was questioned by police, he said the boy bit him so he kicked the child in the head, knocking the boy out cold.

Prosecutors said the child was dead for 20 hours before anyone called for help.
