Tulsa Family Loses Home To Fire

A Tulsa family lost their home to fire late Tuesday morning in the 9200 block of South Hudson. The home is a total loss with severe damage to the inside.

Firefighters said the family was not home when fire broke out, but neighbors called it in around 11:15 a.m. Tulsa firefighters were concerned that the fire would spread to nearby homes as flames started coming from the windows.

They got it under control before that happened, according to a firefighter at the scene.

Investigators will determine the official cause, but the firefighter said it appeared to have started in a hallway wall.
