Osage SkyNews 6 HD captured incredible video of the chemical plant fire Tuesday morning in Neodesha, Kansas.
The fire started with an explosion at the Airosol Company Inc. early Tuesday morning, November 22, 2016.
Smoke could be seen for miles as our helicopter approached the town located about 15 miles north of Independence. Massive flames shot into the air as pilot Will Kavanagh and photojournalist Paul Stephenson captured the scene from overhead.
Airosol was established in 1943 and manufactures and packages aerosols and liquid products. Tanks filled with specialty chemicals burned while firefighters tried to keep nearby tanks cool.
