Signing period has begun for high school athletes across the country. Here’s where some local athletes committed:

The senior starting pitcher for 6A regional champion Jenks and wide receiver for the 6A state champion Trojans signed his letter of intent to play baseball at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.

"It feels great,” said Standlee. “It's always been one of my dreams to go to Oklahoma State. I wanted to go there for college, and then I realized, I have an opportunity to play baseball there. It's been amazing."

Elijah Landrum- Central Basketball

The standout signed to play at SMU, joining Owasso’s Shake Milton and Union's Ethan Chargois in Dallas.

"At first when Coach Larry (Brown) retired it kind of affected it, but when I got to know Coach Jankovich, it got back on board,” said Landrum. “Coach Jank is a real good coach, and he does basically everything Coach Larry did."

Sarah Thiessen- Jenks Volleyball

The senior Libero and captain of the Jenks varsity volleyball Lady Trojans signed her letter of commitment to play volleyball at Oral Roberts University.
