Vic Regalado Re-Elected As Tulsa County Sheriff

For the second time this year, Vic Regalado has defeated Rex Berry in the race for Tulsa County Sheriff.

Tuesday, Regalado, the Republican candidate, defeated Berry, the Democratic candidate.

Regalado also defeated Berry in April of this year when the two went head to head to fill the unexpired term of Stanley Glanz, who resigned.

In his seven months in office, Regalado said he’s improved the budget and is working to improve community policing, but said changes to the department won’t happen overnight.

“Tremendous amount of things that still need to be done but we’ve made great strides and I hope the citizens of Tulsa County will see that and continue to give me their support," he said.
