Muskogee High School cheerleaders, students and family members honored the life of Sarah Jones at Thursday night's football game.
Jones died in a rollover crash Monday night when troopers say she went off the road trying to pass a car.
Both of Jones' parents said she will be missed and was loved by many friends at Muskogee High School.
Cheerleaders helped the crowd remember a fallen Muskogee student.
Jones' father, Floyd, said his daughter was loved by everyone in the Muskogee School system.
"She was a good kid. She'll be truly missed. She brightened a lot of people's lives," he said.
Thursday night's yellow balloon release was a reminder of how much she meant to her friends, family and fellow students.
Floyd Jones said, "They will deeply miss her. She will be deeply missed. She's a lovely kid, beautiful kid. Good in sports. She used to be a cheerleader with all these kids. You know, if a kid needed help she would help them. You know, if she had a problem she would go to her coach. She was an awesome kid."
Family members are asking for donations to help cover funeral expenses. If you’d like a help, an online fundraising site has been set up here.
