A Haskell High School football player was flown to a Tulsa hospital after he was severely injured during a Friday night game in Henryetta.
News On 6's Storm Tracker Darren Stephens has learned the player took a hit during the game that aggravated a previous injury.
We're told the player got hurt at the beginning of the season and was cleared to play by a doctor last week.
Witnesses report the player, who was unresponsive was flown by medical helicopter to Tulsa.
After the game, a post on the Henryetta Quarterback Club Facebook page shows players and others in a circle on the football field to pray for the injured player.
Haskell lost to Henryetta, 41 to 6.
