Chouteau Woman Arrested On Munchausen By Proxy Child Neglect Charge

A Chouteau woman charged with Child Neglect by Munchausen by Proxy was arrested Thursday morning.

Members of the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force took 30-year-old Caitlin Lewis into custody.  

She is accused of making her daughter sick and even claimed her daughter was dead, when she wasn't, according to police.

Lewis is being held on more than $50,000 bond.

Police say Lewis' daughter is now with her father and is doing well.
