Police Identify Tulsa's 52nd Homicide Victim Of 2016

Police have released the name of the woman who was allegedly stabbed to death by her son Tuesday afternoon.

They identified her as 45-year-old Melissa Ann Cole.

Officers were called to Archer and Boston at around 1 p.m. and found Cole dead in her third-floor apartment.

Police said their investigation determined Cole's 15-year-old son was considered the prime suspect in her death and was arrested.

TPD says this is Tulsa's 52nd murder of the year.
