A woman ambushed outside her west Tulsa home last week is on the long road to recovery.
Prosecutors just filed charges against two men they say shot the woman in the back.
The victim’s sister said Julie Carr-Langford hasn't been able to sit up in her hospital bed since the shooting.
Carr-Langford teaches English at Victory Christian and won't make it to the first week of school because of her injuries.
She was just getting out of her car in front of her west Tulsa home when police say three men approached her and tried to rob her.

Langford's sister, Megan Cunningham, said she wasn't getting in the car with them and walked away.
"She saw a weapon, but she was in the moment. She turned to run and they just shot her point blank in the back and left here laying in the street," Cunningham said.
Police say Carr-Langford was found in the street gasping for air after being peppered in the back by a buckshot from a shotgun.
Cunningham said, "We're just so happy she's alive, but she's got a recovery in front of her, and we're not sure how long,"
Jamil Cole and Henry KweKwe are now charged in connection with the shooting and attempting to rob her.
Cunningham said her sister needs all the support she can get while she recovers.
"It's about two weeks until school starts and she's not even sitting up, so I don't see how it's possible she's going to be ready to stand eight hours a day in a classroom. And she's a teacher, you know, they don't make a lot of money, and even with insurance we're worried about covering the out of pocket costs - she was the primary breadwinner," Cunningham said.
The family set up a site to help raise funds for Julie's recovery. You can donate here.
