Authorities said they have found a missing skydiver dead in Lincoln County. The woman, identified as Sheralynn "Marie" Neff, had been missing since Sunday afternoon.
The body of a 26-year-old Kansas woman was found just after 8 a.m. at Little Street and County Line on the Lincoln County side, according to Charlie Dougherty, Lincoln Co Sheriff.
About 3:45 p.m. Sunday, a skydiving school in Cushing sent up an aircraft. The woman was participating in a program and had jumped six times on Sunday. After her last jump, her parachute was found in a tree near Harmony Road and Grandstaff about five miles from Cimarron Correctional Facility.

Search teams continued to search into the night for the missing woman. They searched from the air and from the ground before finding her body some distance away from the parachute.
Neff, who went by Marie, was from Newton, Kansas. Authorities said she was found in tall grass.
The medical examiner is on scene, and the sheriff was arriving Monday afternoon to give the media a briefing.
