The NFL Draft gets underway Thursday night in Chicago, and one local player could hear his name called during the first round.
Oklahoma State defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah is a popular choice for the Panthers with the 30th pick in several mock drafts.
Ogbah led the Big 12 with 13 sacks last season and was named the conference's defensive player of the year.
Several other local players expected to hear their names this weekend, including Oklahoma teammates Sterling Shepard and Charles Tapper.
Tulsa receiver Keyarris Garrett is projected to be drafted Friday, and four other Sooners along with OSU’s Kevin Peterson are projected to be picked on Saturday.
