Tulsa Police Arrest Mother Of Toddler Kicked In Head, Killed

Tulsa police have arrested the mother of a toddler who was kicked in the head and killed.

Wednesday, police arrested Tina Morgan, AKA Tina Taylor, for permitting child abuse by injury and child neglect. She is the mother of the 2-year-old Michael Rigney, who was killed.

In February, 30-year-old Branden Taylor was charged with child abuse murder and child neglect.

According to reports, when Taylor was questioned by police, he said the boy bit him so he kicked the child in the head, knocking the boy out cold.

Police said the toddler had significant head injuries that were non-accidental and “too extensive to be reasonable in force used.”

According to police, Morgan has three other children who have been placed with family members.
