One person died when a box truck collided with a dump truck on Highway 412 in northeast Oklahoma Monday afternoon.

The wreck happened alongside the eastbound lanes of the highway in Mayes County near the Rogers County line. Video from Osage SkyNews 6 HD showed the box truck collided with the rear end of the dump truck.

The dump truck is owned by the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety. An ODOT spokeswoman said two workers were in the dump truck. They were driving alongside the highway doing an inspection when the wreck happened. Both of them were taken to a hospital to be checked out.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has not identified the person who died in the crash or released any information on the cause.
