Friends called 65-year-old Jim Coulson an outstanding person, owning well-known Ted's Hamburgers for more than 50 years.
When he was killed in August, the community immediately wanted answers.
“It's really hard to deal with and you want that brought to justice and you want it brought to light, so yeah it's difficult," said Coulson’s friend Joe Davis.
Wednesday they got some of those answers.
A man named Alcon Sanders was charged with Coulson's murder after police investigators say they had enough information to finally confront him.
He wasn't hard to find.
Sanders is already in jail. He was arrested in October on unrelated charges two months after Coulson's murder.

“After a while he saw the light and gave us enough information to be able to arrest him for the murder and the robbery,” said homicide detective Dave Walker.
Employees found Coulson shot to death outside of his restaurant on the morning of August 7th.
“There's nothing to say; they targeted him for a long time,” explained Walker. “I think like any other robbery, they targeted him for quick cash and Mr. Coulson was probably one that didn't give it up willingly.”
Walker also says the community and his investigators never gave up.
“We are getting inquiries from citizens and city officials because it was a big deal and still is a big deal,” he stated. “We don’t want people thinking they can target icons and get away with it [be]cause they can’t.”
Investigators don't believe Sanders worked alone but they don't have enough information right now to name any other suspects. If you have any information please call Crime Stoppers at (918) 596-2677.
