Police: Truck Driver Beaten, Robbed Outside Tulsa Welding School

<p>A truck driver said he was beaten and robbed outside of the Tulsa Welding School early Monday morning.</p>

A truck driver said he was beaten and robbed outside of the Tulsa Welding School early Monday morning.

According to Tulsa police, just after midnight, an Airgas truck driver pulled into the Tulsa Welding School parking lot at 2525 East 11th Street to deliver gas.

The driver said as he parked, three men approached him and demanded money. The driver told them he didn’t have any then said the robbers took his wallet and beat him on his head and torso.

The robbers are described as a two black males, both early 20 and around 5-feet-10-inches tall. One was wearing a dark hoodie and had a black handgun. The other wore a Chicago Bulls jersey.

The third robber is described as a white male in his early 20s and around 5-feet-6-inches tall wearing a white t-shirt.

Police said the three men were last seen running east from the parking lot.

The driver was treated by EMSA but was not transported.
