Tulsa Golden Hurricane

- TU's postseason matchup will mark its 20th bowl appearance.

- Last bowl appearance: 2012 Liberty Bowl (31-17 win over Iowa State)

- Bowl record:  9-10

- The Golden Hurricane has won three of last four bowl games. Tulsa’s last loss came in the 2011 Armed Forces Bowl (24-21 to BYU).

- This year will mark Philip Montgomery’s first bowl appearance as head coach at TU.

- Philip Montgomery has been to nine bowl games as an assistant (four with Houston, five with Baylor).

- Todd Graham was the last TU coach to win a bowl game in his first season at Tulsa (2007 GMAC Bowl, 63-7 over Bowling Green).
