Tulsa Police Call Off Search For Murder Suspect Near Tulsa Tech Peoria Campus

Police searched a wooded area for a suspect and kept students from going into the Tulsa Tech Peoria Campus.

Tulsa Police called off a search for a murder suspect near 36th Street North and North Peoria.

Officers said they were looking for Isadore Jordan who, they said, is connected to the June 16 murder of Jacob Shadrick. He was found dead inside his apartment at 3711 North Quaker.

Police said they arrested Brandy Jordan, Xavier Jordan and Jerrick Washington for their involvement in the murder. According to Tulsa Police Sergeant Dave Walker, detectives tried to pick up Isadore Jordan Tuesday on a murder warrant at the Comanche Apartments, but said he ran.

Police said they searched on foot and in the air for Jordan in a wooded area but came up empty.

Police kept students from going into the Tulsa Tech Peoria Campus and classes were eventually canceled. Residents of some nearby apartment complexes were also told to stay put as they searched.

Jordan is described as a 19-year-old black male around 5-feet-5-inches tall and 140 pounds. Police ask anyone with information regarding his location to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
