Dispute Between Neighbors Leads To Okmulgee County Standoff

The Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office said a four-hour standoff ended with the arrest of one man.

The Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office said a four-hour standoff ended with the arrest of one man.

The standoff began with a dispute between neighbors near 153rd and Hectorville Road. Deputies said one of the neighbors fired a gun into the ground.

The sheriff's office said deputies used non-lethal rounds to get the suspect to surrender. Once he did they took him to the hospital before arresting him.
