Abandoned Barn Catches Fire Near Owasso

Firefighters had some difficulty getting to a barn fire just east of Owasso Wednesday morning.  

The Owasso Fire Department says it got the call at about 8:30 a.m. to the property on 86th Street North and between 129th East and 145th East Avenue. 

Fire officials say the call came in as a grass fire, but firefighters found an abandoned barn on fire. Firefighters had to use chain saws to cut down several trees and clear brush to gain access to the barn so they could put out the fire.

They haven't released a cause yet.

No injuries were reported.
