Fire Destroys Vacant Tulsa Home

Fire officials say when firefighters arrived just after 3 a.m., smoke and flames were coming from back of the home at the intersection of North Columbia and East Marshall.

Firefighters were called to a vacant house fire in north Tulsa early Wednesday.  

Fire officials say when firefighters arrived just after 3 a.m., smoke and flames were coming from back of the home at the intersection of North Columbia and East Marshall.

Firefighters knocked down the fire quickly but not before it destroyed at least a third of the home.  There were no reports of any injuries.

Firefighters had to also stopped the fire from spreading to home located just north of the vacant home.

Neighbors told News On 6, the home had been vacant for years.

Tulsa Fire investigators are now trying to determine what caused the fire.
