Names Of Officers In Grand Lake Shooting Have Been Released

The names of the two Grand River Dam Authority officers who shot a suspect Thursday evening have been released.

The Grand River Dam Authority said Capt. Tyler Brown and Officer Alan Davis shot Mitchell Allen after a short manhunt.

Officers said Mayes County deputies tried to stop Allen near the Pensacola Dam for a traffic violation, but he ran off into the woods.

When they found Allen, they said he pointed a gun at officers and that's when they fired.

Allen was taken to a Tulsa hospital.

Both officers are currently on leave while the shooting is investigated.
