Police Release Name Of Man Fatally Shot At Tulsa Motel

Police say a 27-year-old man shot three times at a Tulsa motel overnight died at a hospital Tuesday morning.

Officers were called to the Studio 6 Motel at 41st and Memorial at about 2 a.m. 

They said the victim, identified as Cedrick Gilmer was at a party at the motel when he was shot in the chest and head. Police said by the time officers arrived, most of the guests had left. 

EMSA took Gilmer to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at about 5 a.m. 

Detectives have conducted some interviews but are asking anyone with information about the homicide to call Tulsa Police's Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
