Sapulpa Firefighters Use Boats To Rescue Flood Victims

The Sapulpa Fire Department says flooding has impacted between 50 to 100 homes Sunday morning.  

Firefighters have rescued several families. The fire department says one neighborhood at Taft and alternate Highway 75 is particularly bad due to high water. 

Firefighters have used their rescue boat multiple times since midnight.

Most of the flooding is due to Rock Creek which flows through the south side of the community.
