Driver Killed In Broken Arrow Head-On Crash

The driver of a Ford Focus was killed in a two vehicle crash in the 2500 block of South Aspen Wednesday evening, according to Broken Arrow Police.

Officers said just before 9 p.m. a 2002 Cadillac Escalade headed south on Aspen, went left of center hitting a northbound 2012 Ford Focus head-on. The crash happened just south of East 91st Street South.

The driver of the Cadillac, who was not identified, was taken to a Broken Arrow hospital listed in serious condition. The driver of the Ford Focus, Ross Shoemaker was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said both drivers were wearing their seat belts.

Police said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
