SUV Hits Barrier At Tulsa International Airport

Paramedics took a man to the hospital after he crashed his car into a concrete barrier at Tulsa International Airport on North Memorial Drive overnight.

Officers said airport police found the Chevy HHR with the driver unconscious inside just before midnight. The Tulsa Fire Department had to pry open a passenger door to free the unidentified man.

Police said he had non-life threatening injuries.

Officers said it appeared the man was headed north on Memorial when he hit barrier next to Fine Airport Parking.

Police are now trying to determine if the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol or suffered a medical condition prior to the crash.
