Man Arrested In Sapulpa After Running From OHP Trooper

Creek County authorities apprehended a man who ran from Highway Patrol troopers early Friday in Sapulpa.

The OHP says a trooper attempted to stop a driver for a traffic violation on Highway 97 when the man drove off and into a Sapulpa neighborhood. Troopers said the man abandoned his vehicle on Gray Street and ran into some nearby woods. Sapulpa Police and Creek County Sheriff's deputies surrounded the area and a K9 officer helped capture the man.

OHP says the man, who's name was not released was arrested and booked into the Creek County jail.
