Detectives are investigating Tulsa's second homicide of the year after a relative found a 52-year-old man dead in a home Monday evening.

Tulsa Police Sergeant Dave Walker says a family member found Rodney Dorsey inside his home in the 2200 block of North Atlanta Court at 7:15 p.m.

He says Dorsey's brother had not heard from him for several days and went to investigate. The brother found Rodney Dorsey face down on the floor dead.

Sgt. Walker says the state Medical Examiner's office determined Dorsey had been stabbed in the chest.

He says Dorsey's 1992 Chevrolet 1500 pickup was missing from the home. It has Oklahoma license plate 856KSL.

Sgt. Walker says there were no signs of forced entry into the home and neighbors reported seeing Dorsey alive on Saturday.

Oklahoma Department of Corrections and court records show Dorsey has had several drug convictions from 2002 to 2004 and was released from prison in 2009.

Sgt. Walker says police don't yet have a motive for Dorsey's death and asks if anyone has information about Dorsey, the roommate or the missing pickup truck to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
