Man Dies In House Fire In Miami

Miami firefighters found a man's body at the scene of a house fire Wednesday morning. 

According to City of Miami Communications Director Monica Bagwell, the fire department was called to the home on G Street N.E. at 3:13 a.m. 

Firefighters discovered Dennis Joe Gower's body inside. 

The Miami Fire Department and the State Fire Marshal are investigating, but Bagwell says investigators don't suspect foul play. 

"It could be a while before we get a report," Bagwell added.

The Quapaw Tribe Fire Department assisted with putting out the fire.
