Man Dies After Rollover Wreck In Tulsa

A man who was involved in a rollover crash near Eighth Street and Sheridan Road has died, officials say.

Witnesses said a man in a red SUV was pulling out from a local bar, when it was broadsided by a black car. Police said the driver of the red car was a regular at the bar and he stopped by and had a glass of water and bought drinks for the locals celebrating New Year's.

Police said a black sedan broadsided the SUV driver as it pulled onto Sheridan. The SUV rolled, and the driver was thrown, then pinned beneath the vehicle.

Both the SUV driver and the man driving the car were rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.

The man in the SUV died at a local hospital in the early-morning hours.
