The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has released the identity of the woman killed in a crash on Highway 75 in Okmulgee County Thursday morning.

Troopers say the woman was Estelle Burrell, 78, of Tulsa.

The crash happened near 276th Street South in the northbound lanes of 75.

Troopers said Burrell's 2002 Kia Sephia was either moving slowly or parked straddling the edge of the border between the inside lane and the inside shoulder with its emergency flashers on when a northbound 2014 Chevy Silverado pickup hit it from behind.

The OHP says Burrell died at the scene. Troopers said the driver of the pickup, 33-year-old Benjamin Smart of Morris, was treated and released from Okmulgee Memorial Hospital.

The crash backed up northbound traffic on Highway 75 for about a mile while emergency workers cleared the wreckage.
