Fourteen young leaders from across the globe helped paint a global mural in Tulsa.
The teenagers are part of a cultural immersion program with the Tulsa Global Alliance, helping to raise awareness for global understanding and togetherness.
In each city the kids help local nonprofit organizations with community service projects through volunteering.
"We get to learn more about teenagers from other cultures because we really get to know them and really get to know the similarities and differences, and just the making friends aspect of it is really my favorite," said participant Susie Francy.
Similar maps are being painted in other U.S. cities as well as in India and Pakistan.
