News On 6 Anchor, Runners Finish 118th Boston Marathon Strong

One of News On 6's own was one of the thousands racing towards the finish line at this year's Boston Marathon. News On 6 anchor Chera Kimiko finished in about five hours. She said moment during the race nearly brought her to tears.

She said she finished the race, and while it wasn't as fast as she would have liked, it was very emotional to run in.

Kimiko said she cried at points during the race, especially when she saw people who were double amputees as a result of last year's tragedy.

She said she got a chance to talk to some of the survivors of last year's race. She said being there to show support for them, along with almost a million others, meant a lot to her.
