Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts have both been nominated for an Academy Award for their roles in the movie "August: Osage County."
The 86th Annual Academy Award nominations were announced Thursday and Meryl Streep grabbed a nomination for Best Actress and co-star Julia Roberts received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress for their roles in "August: Osage County."
Roberts plays Streep's daughter in the Pulitzer Prize winning story about an estranged family brought together by tragedy.
"August: Osage County" was written by playwright and Tulsa native Tracy Letts.

The movie was filmed in Osage and Washington counties.
Along with Streep, Amy Adams, "American Hustle"; Cate Blanchett, "Blue Jasmine"; Sandra Bullock, "Gravity"; and Judi Dench, "Philomena" received nominations for Best Actress.
Roberts joined Sally Hawkins, "Blue Jasmine"; Jennifer Lawrence, "American Hustle"; Lupita Nyong'o, "12 Years a Slave"; and June Squibb, "Nebraska" with her Best Supporting Actress nomination.
The Oscars will be presented March 2, 2014 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
