Police Say Tulsa Man Sexually Assaulted Woman, Put Her In Trunk Of Car

A Tulsa man was arrested Saturday after police say he raped a woman and drove around with her in the trunk of a car.

James Partee, 47, is in Tulsa County Jail on a $157,000 bond.

Tulsa police were called to the 3200 block of East Tecumseh just after midnight by a woman who said her live-in boyfriend held a knife to her throat and sexually assaulted her. She said Partee then wrapped her in a blanket, placed her in the trunk of her car and drove around.

When police spoke to Partee, who is a convicted felon, they say he had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath and was unsteady on his feet.

He was booked on complaints of rape by force or fear, kidnapping, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, assault with a deadly weapon and driving under the influence.
