Broken Arrow Police Officer Arrested For Public Intoxication

A Broken Arrow police officer was arrested and booked into jail this weekend on a complaint of public intoxication.

According to a City of Broken Arrow spokesperson, Jimmy McBee, 34, is also being investigated for sexual battery, but he was not arrested for that, according to Tulsa County jail records.

According to his arrest report, McBee was arrested Saturday night in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency hotel in downtown Tulsa.

McBee is out on bond. He tendered his resignation, effective Friday, the city said.

He has worked for the Broken Arrow Police Department Patrol Division since December 2005. Before that, he was an officer with the Collinsville Police Department.
