We have new information on the Tulsa Fire Department taking action against firefighters involved in a collision.

Two fire trucks crashed at a downtown intersection in September, and the investigation revealed firefighters were not wearing their seatbelts.

A further review of records from the investigation shows the safety monitor on the seatbelts had been disabled.

The entire department got a warning about disabling safety equipment, and now when firefighters are dispatched, they're reminded to buckle up.

The department demoted two men and disciplined three others in connection with the crash.
