Thousands came out to help the Down Syndrome Association of Tulsa Sunday morning.
The group held its 11th annual "Buddy Walk" to raise money for families in the Tulsa area who have children with Down Syndrome.
"It funds things like new parent packets, conference scholarships, special speakers, social events for families with children with Down Syndrome," said President of SDAT, Jamie Harper.
The group raised more than $70,000 Sunday--a little short of their goal, but still, the 4,500 in attendance did a world of good for Green Country families.
