Drivers going to the Tulsa State Fair could end up with a $60 ticket for parking in the wrong place.

The Tulsa Police Department will be enforcing on-street parking ordinances in the fairgrounds area.

Residential streets near the fairgrounds have signs that say "no parking during events."

Drivers who park illegally could get tickets anywhere from $30-60.

You also could find your car gone if it's parked in a tow-away zone or if it's blocking traffic.

If you don't want to fight the traffic, there are shuttles available:

  • Tulsa Promenade Mall: 41st Street and Yale Avenue (south side parking garage).
  • Nathan Hale High School, 6960 E. 21st St.
  • Tulsa Public Schools Education Service Center: 3027 S. New Haven Ave.

Shuttles will run both weeks:

  • Monday - Thursday:  6 p.m. - 11 p.m.
  • Friday:  6 p.m. - midnight
  • Saturday & Sunday:  12 p.m. - midnight
