State troopers say two people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a crash with an Oklahoma County deputy on Highway 75 southbound, near Schulter.
The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the deputy involved in the crash was transporting an inmate from Okmulgee County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said neither the deputy nor the inmate were injured, but two people in the other car were flown to Tulsa in critical and serious condition, respectively.
OHP said the car that hit the deputy's car failed to yield at a stop sign.
Troopers are investigating the crash.
Witnesses told News On 6 traffic was backed up for the better part of an hour following the crash.
