Fire destroyed a family-owned Tulsa business early Thursday.

The Tulsa Fire Department got the call about a building fire near Admiral and Lewis at 12:45 a.m. Firefighters pulled up to find smoke pouring from several windows.

Firefighters initially had fight the fire from outside because of the heat and the smoke, but eventually got inside and quickly knocked down the flames.

A man who owns a business across the street told News On 6 the building housed a small carpentry store.

Investigators are now trying to determine what started the fire.

No one was injured.
