Colorado authorities have arrested a man in connection with the fatal shooting of a Tulsa man in Aurora on August 21.
According to the Denver Post newspaper, Brandon Goff, 24, of Tulsa and two friends were in Colorado to "purchase marijuana" from a dispensary.
According to an arrest affidavit, after learning the dispensary was closed Goff's friends arranged to meet Aaron Hill, 25, at a local restaurant. Police said Goff was shot outside the restaurant and later died at the hospital.
Police arrested Hill, who is being held in the Arapahoe County Detention Center on a complaint of first degree murder. He has a court appearance set for August 29.
Goff's funeral was set for Wednesday in Tulsa.
