We're learning more about the moments leading up the murder of a Green Country grandmother.
Debi Connor was shot and killed outside her Sand Springs home last night.
Osage County deputies say her son pulled the trigger, then kidnapped his 6-year-old son.
The Osage County District Attorney filed murder and kidnapping charges against Robert Connor III today.
And court documents spell out the murder, as told by victim's grandson, who was living with his grandma and brother.
Debi called a travel trailer nestled near her best friend's house her home. She settled there after her husband died last August.
"Real good people, every time they'd go by, they'd wave," next-door neighbor Don Fielden said.
Fielden said the neighborhood is what you'd expect in a rural community -- quiet.
But Tuesday night, the silence was disrupted by a single gunshot.
"It just [blew] our mind that it happened this close to our house," Fielden said.
Court documents show Debi's son, Robert, showed up to her camper around 7:30 p.m.
Debi had been caring for Robert Connor's sons, 10-year-old Jonathan and 6-year-old Declan.
Jonathan told deputies his dad and grandma started arguing, so Debi told the young boys to stay inside while she went outside and shut the door.
According to the affidavit, Jonathan heard the two yelling, so he peeked out the window.
It was then Jonathan said he watched his father pull out a gun and shoot his grandmother in the head.
Jonathan said when he ran out of the trailer, his dad was still holding the gun and his grandmother was lying near the steps of her trailer.
His 6-year-old brother was still inside.
Jonathan ran next door to Debi's friend's place, and hid in the bathroom to call 911.
Court documents say Jonathan looked out the window one more time, only this time he says he saw his little brother, Declan, standing in the yard crying.
When deputies showed up, Robert and his youngest son were nowhere in sight.
The neighbor remembers seeing Robert's car shortly before the shooting.
"When we come back, though, that car was gone," Fielden said. "I don't know for sure what happened, but I heard somebody hollering over there. I don't know if it was Debi or who it was.
Investigators found Robert by pinging his cell phone and tracking it to a hotel in Lewisville, Texas.
He is still waiting extradition back to Osage County, and Declan was found safe and taken into protective custody. Family members are expecting to reunite with him soon.
Robert's son, Declan, was found safe in that hotel room. He was in child protective custody in Texas, but was brought back to Oklahoma Wednesday night.
Family members said the young boys' mother, isn't from the United States and has been out of the picture for several years.
Robert's uncle said his nephew has history of mental illness and stopped taking his medication about three months ago.
