Food Pyramid is selling its Tulsa stores and a familiar name is buying three of them.
Food Pyramid bought the five stores from Albertson's in 2007, but says the sale will help them strengthen their other Oklahoma stores in Cushing, Stillwater, Ponca City and Bartlesville.
The sale means Reasor's is expanding. They're buying the Food Pyramids at 71st and Garnett, 51st and Harvard, and the one on Peoria near 41st Street.
The stores at 81st and Yale and 51st and Memorial will close September 3, 2013. A store at 101st and Memorial has been closed for a while now.
Food Pyramid is talking with a prospective buyer for those remaining properties.
